Barbarian Builds for Diablo 2 covers many popular and niche builds for the Barbarian, one of the seven available Classes in the game. Barbarian Builds in Diablo 2 usually use one of three Skill Lines to focus on, and those are: Combat Masteries, Barbarian Combat Skills, and Warcries. Builds can of course dip into other Skill Lines, but they will usually focus around 1 or 2 Skills, increasing other Skills in those Skill Trees, since doing so generally passively increases the effectiveness of the main Skill you are focusing on.

Best Diablo 2 Barbarian Builds

Barbarian Builds for Diablo 2

The Best Barbarian Builds in Diablo 2 Resurrected. These Barbarian Builds are extremely relevant in 2021, and perfect for your D2 Resurrected experience. Starting with our very own Frenzy Barbarian Build, which is an Combat Barbarian Build that focuses on dealing damage with Dual Swing and Frenzy, and working towards more end game focused Builds, you can find what you need on this page. This Build is a very good Leveling Barbarian Build, as it works from relatively early on in the game, and can carry you through Normal with ease. If you're new to playing Barbarian then this is a great choice for you!

Frenzy Barbarian Build | Barbarian Executioner

The Barbarian Executioner uses two Maces at the same time to perform quick, powerful attacks to effectively get rid of individual targets. You'll be using Double Swing and Frenzy as your main Skills, and Mace Mastery to further increase your damage and attack rating.

The Barbarian is widely considered to be one of the most difficult Classes to start Diablo 2 Resurrected. This is due to its limited AoE options during early game, its lack of ranged attacks and the item dependency to remain effective during endgame. While this is true to a certain extent, you can still play the Barbarian effectively on your first Diablo 2 Resurrected run as long as you know where to focus your efforts.

It's important to note that this build will only remain viable through the first difficulty (Normal) and up to around Lvl 40. You can still run through Nightmare difficulty if you insist, but I wouldn't recommend it as you'll find much better options at that point in the game.

If you are a new player, I strongly advise you save the respec that you get from completing the first Quest Den of Evil. By doing so, you will be able to talk to Akara and respec your character into a different build once you reach Nightmare difficulty.
