Catapult is an Enemy (Normal Monster) in Diablo 2. Catapult is a - and can be found for the first time in Act 5. Enemies in Diablo 2 have multiple variants, that can be distinguished by their colour and/or name, but graphically they look the same, this means that the monsters are the same but their stats are different. These variations are listed below.
Catapult Information
Catapults are forged by the most powerful of hell's smiths, Catapults are demonic souls fused with iron, punished for disloyalty bound by the Three. Catapults have an incredible range; they can hit you from many screens away. Kill every Catapult you see. Catapults have several different types of attacks: Poison, Lightning, Cold, and an attack that lays Fire Traps (similar to Assassin Skill). Catapults sometimes rotate between these different attacks.
