Durance of Hate is a Location in Diablo 2. Durance of Hate can be found in Act 3. Durance of Hate has the following area levels depending on the difficulty: Normal: 25, Nightmare: 55, Hell: 83.

Durance of Hate Information

The Durance of Hate is the lair of Mephisto and can be accessed from Travincal by completing The Blackened Temple quest. It's the last dungeon of Act 3. The waypoint can always be found on level 2.

Patch 2.4: The Compelling Orb must be smashed, for the players to be able to enter the Durance of Hate, instead of killing the Council. So now players need to complete Khalim's Will to use the waypoint in Durance of Hate.
