Plague Javelin is an Amazon Skill in Diablo 2. Plague Javelin is part of the Javelin and Spear Skill Tree and requires level 18 to be unlocked. Skills usually define a character's playstyle and are divided by Class and Skill Tree. Some Skills have synergies, which provide benefits to other skills on the same Skill Tree.

 

Practiced and cunning warriors are able to incorporate poisonous vegetation into the organs of wildlife, creating highly infectious and deadly bladders that the Amazons affix to their javelins. These javelins strike a target and explode into noxious and putrescent clouds. Entire armies of creatures and of men have been slaughtered by the ingenious use of these biological agents. The choking cloud created by a plague javelin will incapacitate even the strongest foes.

Important Note: With the release of Patch 2.4 this skill has suffered some changes:

  • Magically enhances your Javelin to release expanding clouds of poison upon impact. 
  • Cast Delay: 1 Seconds Before Patch 2.4 was 4 Sec.
  • Casting Delay will no longer share its cooldown with other skills that have Casting Delays. NEW from Patch 2.4
  • Tooltip updated to now display Casting Delay. NEW from Patch 2.4
