Venom is an Assassin Skill in Diablo 2. Venom is part of the Shadow Disciplines Skill Tree and requires level 30 to be unlocked. Skills usually define a character's playstyle and are divided by Class and Skill Tree. Some Skills have synergies, which provide benefits to other skills on the same Skill Tree.

 

Poison use is another technique an Assassin has to help even the odds when
battling demons and their ilk. An Assassin who has mastered this skill secretly
coats her weapons with vile toxins.

• Poison Damage over 0.4
• Seconds: 60-80
• Duration in Seconds: 120

• Venom Required Level: 30
• Venom Prerequisites: Claw Mastery, Burst of Speed, Fade

Important Note: With the release of Patch 2.4 this skill has suffered some changes:

• Buff Duration scaling per level changed from 4 seconds to 12 seconds (matching Burst of Speed and Fade)
