Tools of the Trade is an Act I Quest in Diablo 2. Tools of the Trade can be acquired by talking to Charsi after completing The Forgotten Tower quest or by entering the Inner Cloister. Quests can be acquired by talking to NPCs, reading books or by completing other Quests.
When I fled the Monastery, I left behind the Horadric Malus, my enchanted smithing hammer. If you can retrieve it for me, I'll use its magic to strengthen your equipment.
Tools of the Trade Walkthrough
- Follow the path across the Black Marsh and the Tamoe Highland to locate the Rogue Monastery. Once there go ahead to the Outer Cloister. Then, go into the Barracks where you can find The Horadric Malus. To obtain it, you must first defeat The Smith. After retrieving The Horadric Malus, return it back to Charsi to obtain the reward.
