Deadly Strike is a Combat mechanic in Diablo 2. Deadly Strike is the chance to double the damage dealt to an Enemy on a Hit. Combat Mechanics are different tools at the player's disposal to face the forces of Hell. Below, you can see a detailed description on what Deadly Strike.

Deadly Strike Information

Deadly Strike is the chance to double the damage (Even Converted Damage is doubled) dealt to an Enemy on a Hit. You cannot hit Deadly Strike and one of the following Strikes on a same Hit:

• Assassin Critical Strike
• Barbarian Critical Strike
• Amazon Critical Strike

If one of the rolls fails, the chance may succeed, so even if they don't stack, it gives you more chance to hit one or the other.

Deadly Strike also does not apply to:

• Impale
• Dragon Talon
• Dragon Tail
• Dragon Flight
• Sacrifice
• Smite

Sources of Deadly Strike stack, except from a Weapon which is not used to inflict that particular blow. This only applies to duel-wielding Assassins or Barbarians
